Total eclipse of the sun 2017
Photographed on 21-Aug-2017
Map: Source NASA
The location was about 40km northeast of Jackson (top left mark on the mapin the umbra). Of course, the temporary overpopulation of the central line was predictable and a good reason to avoid this place as much. A small parking lot in an exposed place including a nice bar in the vicinity came very close to the top desired place.

Wide angle view Tele-view
The complete covering of the lunar disc initiates the climax of the total eclipse, which lasted about one minute and 40 seconds at this location.
The corona becomes visible through a longer exposure
Exit from the umbra, the diamond ring appeared again.Far from the eclipse chaos, I had found one of the most beautiful places. So full enjoyment with partial acoustic Pink Floyd background
And afterwards the right beer, perfect...
